Quality Assured Visitor Attraction - English Tourism Council.
YorkBoat is one of the largest fleet of modern sightseeing, restaurant and party boats outside London.
Every YorkBoat has modern toilets, heated lounges with large windows for maximum viewing and comfort, tea/coffee and bar facilities and open sun-decks.
We are proud of our friendly, professional team members who are dedicated to giving you the best possible cruise experience. We've been recognised many times with numerous training and quality awards, including:
Cruising on the picturesque River Ouse through the walled City of York, you can enjoy a range of public and private cruises, daytime and evening.
We operate year round for groups, with most public cruises operating between February and November. There are two city-centre landings, at King's Staith and Lendal Bridge. Access to both landings includes some steps. We are happy to help all customers, including those in wheelchairs or with buggies etc. to board safely.
The historic City of York has a wealth of award winning attractions and a range of superb shops set in a magnificent historic setting. As George VI said "the history of York is the history of England".
Visitors to York shouldn't miss the magnificent stained glass in York Minster - the largest gothic cathedral in Northern Europe. And try and set aside an hour or so to walk on the historic walls that surround the city.
The river Ouse runs right through the centre of the walled city and a daytime or evening cruise with YorkBoat is the perfect way to relax and enjoy the sights of York and discover its rich history from the commentary/storyteller!
